The Clean-Up Foundation is a non profit organization /charity founded by Sidharth Runwal in 2017. He was a sixteen year old student at the time and did remarkable work through Clean Up before moving overseas for higher studies. Clean Up’s operations are now spearheaded by co-founder Sanjana Runwal, his sister. Sanjana is just 14 years old but has big dreams and a strong determination to bring in a change in the lives of people around us. She started her journey by raising funds to donate prosthetic limbs to eight accident victims in Vidarbha. Inspired by the ‘Swachh Baharat’ drive of our honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the organization’s objective is to improve the quality of life of rag pickers and garbage cleaners in Mumbai. It aims to achieve this objective through various activities targeted at improving and enhancing the hygiene and sanitation factors around those who help the city clean but themselves live in appalling conditions.
To improve the lives of the garbage cleaners in Mumbai, thereby making Mumbai a better place to live.
